Yes, A Blind can see .. A thought A Dream.

My Dear Friends,

On the same idea of a "BLIND CAN SEE", My nephew and niece, who are age of 11 and 5 years respectively have come with an idea of drawing the image of the same, describing the gadget details and other things relating to it. very beautiful drawing they have drawn. feeling happy. God bless both of them.

The idea may be complicated, may include cost, but yes if this idea comes in real then A blind who cannot see will be able to listen the word in his/her language using this gadget.

How Device works

The Gadget will be kept in the pocket of the person,

1. He/She will be wearing spects,

2. the spects working as a camera/scanner will scan the image in front of it.

3. The scanner after scan will check the database within the device.

4. After checking the databse, the device will speak up the name of the image using speaker in the ears of the person who cannot see.

5. The person will hear the name of the object with a little bit of description about the image in the individual's native language.

6. Once the person hears the image name or description will be able to take a decision or action accordingly or We can see that the Individual will be able to decide to take action.

Example of the activities the person will be able to perform are like

1. Crossing the road,

2. Eating food including description of what type of food is in front of him,

3. knowing who is the person standing beside or opposite to him with the description.

4. there can be any kind of obsrtuctions, etc. this device will help him in his daily life to live like a normal person who has eyes.

Gadget includes following device, It includes A camera, A Scanner, A Headphone/Speaker, A Translator, An Adaptor ... The Adaptor helps the device to charge from cell phone or from a battery or power bank.

Yes, A blind can see

Friends,

With the use of this gadget a blind can listen the name and hint of the thing in front of him. A database of 100 to 1000 objects, which will be referred by the scanner and live camera placed on the eyes of a blind ( A spec) and after analyses the application will speak in the ears of the person about the object in front of him can make this possible.

A DREAM FOR A BLIND TO SEE :: A GADGET

Dear Friends,

We are very much amazed by the launch of Digital phones and their new applications, they leave us in a state of illusion happening in front of us because we like the changes that we can see and feel. Is the life belong to only those who have eyes and can see the world using them. My question and thought may feel not new to you, but the idea i have with me carries a vision and energy to push our electronic or digital world more further.
We all know life is precious and we love it more than any thing, we take dreams, some of us live that dream as well with their efforts or by God grace. but what about those who see dreams and if they make it happen also, they still can't see it. Imagine a blind who can touch and say that in front of him is a bus, he can describe the shape but in reality he cannot see it, he cannot explain the colors,etc. the life of a blind is very difficult here in developing countries, i really do not know how developed countries are dealing with their problems. it is not only about providing a seat in Train, in a bus, on airplane, a keeping a reservation for a job for blind or challenged person. these are small steps for them to improve their living standards.
My thought is on a new gadget, which can allow them to see and hear what is in front of it. I am an Engineer so thinking is from that background only. this gadget will help them to hear what is in front of them, called LIVE CAMERA SCANNER and SPEAKER. The blind is not a curse to any society in any way, instead they have more qualities than a human who can see. they see life from a different view. now how this LIVE CAMERA SCANNER RECORDER and SPEAKER works.
This gadget is a spec that is connected to a digital diary carrying database and application. it will read any thing in front of the glass and get back to database to query that what it is and once the database verifies that the image is known and matches with a database of alike shape and features then the same name will be said in the Blind's ear and Blind can recognize the thing and move forward with his superb intelligence.
lets take an example:- A person who is completely blind and cannot see anything, but can hear any small voice clear will wear this spec or glasses. Assume he is crossing a road or want to board a bus, then this glass will work as a live camera and will capture the very recent image which is in front of him and go to database to inquire about the same, once database say that this image matches the features of a road or bus then will speak in the ear of blind person. and that signal will help blind to cross the road by himself or climb the bus when it stops in front of him. He will be able to help himself. Yes the database and language required for this gadget should be able to work on live scenarios and ability of size of database should be enough capturing and carrying photographs. If he is able to hear the voice and he knows that in front of a bus is coming then their is no chance he will ever carry a stick or act like a dependent.
Another example:- if he stays in a home, the basic requirements are to know the stairs, to know which floor is it, to know where is the door, to know where is the washroom, and to recognize the name of the person who is standing in front of him if the other person doesn't speak a word. in this way he can make himself more secure if the other person is his friend or enemy. everything will be spoken in his/her ears with in very shot span of time and he will be able to recognize with the help of this gadget.
this idea if already developed then i may the person who doesn't know it, and if developed also then please make this available in developing countries as they demand more because a Developed country makes more arrangement for physically challenged than a developing country. I can't see a blind man touching, imagining and then feeling who is in front of him.
About Gadget, the gadget will surely not cost to high as it will only carry this application and database, speaking feature and a calling one.

I Do hope that one day blind will be able to see like us. Blind will see for sure. they will have eyes.

Openstack or Open stack Installation and Configuration + Red Hat Linux

Friends,

Thanks to Red Hat for providing free download and installation option for Open Stack Implementation and giving learning opportunity. Sharing the same with all so that we can all learn this not very new but a best technology which can offer many option to reduce cost on Infrastructure and reducing the resource requirement.

What I learn about new technology and movement towards cloud, etc. is cost cutting. which is the major cause and keeping in mind to shift the work load to the User/Client. Giving potential and idea directly to the user. "Demanded By the User, Provided To the User, Work For the User". These all comes from User's power to Pay for resource, as he understands his work better than anyone under less cost. There will be lot to say and also there will be lot to discuss from User end to IT and then again IT to User.

Below are the steps which we would require to take to implement Open stack on your Work station/ V Centers / Oracle VMs, or even on Redhat Virt-managers. I have installed it with the help available from Red Hat and the best friend of everyone's life Mr. Google. Red Hat Provides this free evaluation version for 60 days.

1. You need to have VMware Workstation or any Desktop level Workstation on your Laptop/desktops/HP/DELL or any machine.

2. Install Red Hat 7 (which i have used) on your workstation with minimum 2 GB of RAM and minimum 2 cores of CPU, Disk Space 30 GB is fine (Which i have kept). Depends upon your requirement you can vary all the resources,

3. Red Hat provides Red Hat 7 ISO image, we can download the same and also we need to register for Openstack subscription and its installation.

"Registration to Redhat site is mandatory as the Credentials will be used to install the Openstack packages and update the machine. It is like subscription for RHN satellite".

4. As you completes your download and Subscription part, we are ready with the installation of Red Hat 7 and Openstack.
before you proceed, If you are not aware of "How to create and Install a Virtual Machine" then please click below link. else you can proceed further with the installation.

5. While completing all the basic needs of Installation of RED HAT 7, we have to keep in mind the file system structure of CENT OS 7/ Red Hat 7. i.e. Default file system which these choose is XFS file system, if you are ok with this then keep choosing the default layout of File system else you can alter the file system and choose LVM type i.e. EXT4 or EXT 3.

6. with choosing the installation packages or repos in GUI MODE and packages. We can complete the installation. Though there is lot to say and learn about new features of Red Hat 7. We will stick now only with installation of Openstack. Once we are ready with the machine. we need to follow below steps to install and configure openstack.

Additional information:

* A new answerfile was created in: /root/packstack-answers-20141206-142143.txt

* Time synchronization installation was skipped. Please note that unsynchronized time on server instances might be problem for some OpenStack components.

* File /root/keystonerc_admin has been created on OpenStack client host 192.168.233.128. To use the command line tools you need to source the file.

* To access the OpenStack Dashboard browse to http://192.168.233.128/dashboard .

Please, find your login credentials stored in the keystonerc_admin in your home directory.

* To use Nagios, browse to http://192.168.233.128/nagios username: nagiosadmin, password: 59a6a067fb6643f0

Above error disappointed me, but later when i ignored these error and open the dashboard mentioned above in bold worked fine.

Once we open the same with explorer or chrome or mozilla. it looked fine to go with. below is teh scree shot.

Installation and configuration part completes here.

Now we can create images, upload ISO images and create the instance using the same. Configure Network, Storage, etc. For all rest we have to study open stack more and bring the same in use. I would like to say thanks to you all for reading this document and keep learning and sharing knowledge.
